About Insula
Insula Container Conversions Inc. is a Southwestern Ontario manufacturer and developer of rapid-deployment modular infrastructure.
We take projects from operational requirements through design, prototyping, manufacturing, system integration and modular kitting. Using ISO shipping containers and transportable platforms as a foundation, we develop purpose-built systems for defence, remote operations, energy, utilities, mining, industrial and specialty applications.
Manufacture as much as possible under controlled conditions, reduce field fabrication, and make infrastructure easier to transport, install, service and redeploy.
Built in Southwestern Ontario
Insula's manufacturing operations are based in Langton, Ontario, with design and project support in Delhi, Ontario. Our model combines in-house manufacturing with Canadian advanced-manufacturing suppliers and specialist trade relationships.
This allows Insula to develop and manufacture modular systems in Southwestern Ontario while supporting deployment throughout Canada and into remote locations.

Leadership
President & Founder
Michael founded Insula around the idea that standardized container platforms could be developed into much more capable infrastructure systems. He leads Insula's product development, manufacturing strategy and development of proprietary modular systems, with a focus on practical solutions that can be manufactured efficiently and deployed where conventional infrastructure is difficult or costly.
General Manager & Director, Strategic Partnerships
Katie leads Insula's day-to-day business operations, procurement initiatives and strategic partnership development. She works with customers, prime contractors, government procurement organizations, suppliers and strategic partners to identify opportunities and bring the right organizations together around Insula projects.
Her role connects Insula's manufacturing capabilities with the partnerships, suppliers and project requirements needed to move opportunities from discussion toward execution.
Industry connections
Insula participates in Canadian industry organizations supporting defence, security, transportation equipment and advanced manufacturing.
